Since Fall is my favorite time of year, I thought it would be fitting to share a cute and fun Halloween activity for my first EVER blog post.
My three year old loves getting surprise presents, especially when they’re from a secret phantom. She thinks it’s even more fun to BE the secret phantom. This is a fun and easy way to get into the Halloween Spirit, and help others do the same!
Here’s what you will need to do to for you and yours to participate:
- Make three copies of each of these free printables:
Halloween Poem (This lays out the ground rules of “getting Boo-ed”)
Phantom for Door (This is for the lucky recipients to put on their door, so everyone knows they’ve already received some treats.)
- Hit up the dollar section at Target (any Dollar Store will do) and make three bags or buckets of Halloween goodies.
- Pick three lucky neighbors, friends or family members and leave one bag of goodies, and one copy of each printable on each of their doorsteps. (I roll up the Printables and put them in the bag/bucket so they are sure to read them.)
- Ring their doorbell and RUN!!
It is so enjoyable to watch the kids (and adults) have a great time with this. It’s so simple and so fun.
“‘Tis better giving than receiving
We all know this to be true
Show your love to the whole world
Now the Phantom is YOU!!!”
