Plans for our son’s Toddler Room

Tax season has been keeping me pretty busy these days, but my son is officially graduating from his crib and into a “big boy” room, so you know I had to find time to plan out his new room!  He is crazy about anything that “goes” – trucks, planes, trains, cars – if it has wheels he has major heart eyes.  I want his room to be a place he loves, so naturally I decided to do a “things that go” theme.  Here are my plans:

Ikea Malm Bed – This is a hand-me down from our daughter.  When we did our master bedroom makeover, our daughter inherited our bed, and her bed will now go to our son.  This bed is perfect for a toddler graduating from a crib.  It’s big enough so they have enough space to roll around without falling out, and if they do fall out it’s low to the ground so they won’t get hurt!  We absolutely loved it for our daughter, and my fingers are crossed that it will go well for our son, too!

Brody Quilted Bedding – I’m always a sucker for Pottery Barn Kids, but when I saw this bedding, I knew my son would be in L-O-V-E.   My daughter has the Daisy Garden Quilted Bedding and I’ve been super happy with the quality, so I ordered it up!  It’s supposed to arrive soon, so I’ll be sure to dish on the quality of this once he’s used it for a while.

Brody Sheet Set – How cute are these?!  And they go with the bedding, so how could I not get my baby boy a sheet set with literally EVERYTHING that he loves!

Madras Blackout Panels –  I like to mix patterns and thought these were adorable.  They are the same colors as the bedding, and I didn’t want to go overboard on the trucks, planes and cars – so these were perfect.  Blackout is a must for us.  Our kids sleep so much better when it’s completely dark.

Airplane Table Lamp –  I fell in love with the simple design and I know my son will fall in love with the airplane! 😉

Airplane Wall Art, Instant Download – I found this Wall Art on Etsy, and BONUS it’s an instant download so these are all printed out and framed – ready to hang in my little guys new room!

Sherwin-Williams Sleepy Blue – We’ve already painted his room Sherwin-Williams Sleepy blue and I am so excited to share some before and after pictures once I have the room complete!  It’s such a calming color, and is the perfect backdrop for all his new digs!

I cannot wait to get everything set up and get my little boy into his new big bed!

Adorable! I love everything, especially the wall color you chose. I wanted to get a fun sheet set for our son like that when he was a toddler but they ran out of stock. So sad that I missed it!
